Explanation:
Propongo questa alternativa perchè convivere mi sembra troppo piatto e 'passivo' come termine in questo contesto (anche perchè in inglese sarebbe 'living with' che è meno carico, sebbene usato. Anzì si dice di più 'learning to live with an illness' proprio perchè living è troppo piatto).

Navigating secondo me è un termine scelto non a caso proprio per dare il senso della difficoltà di gestire la propria vita dopo una diagnosi di questo tipo-di navigare in questo 'mare' di emozioni.

Gestire mi sembra più positivo, attivo- chi 'naviga' è alla guida (at the helm) della propria vita e la gestisce come crede meglio seppure incontra molte difficoltà. Chi convive con qualcosa non necessariamente ha questo atteggiamento pro-attivo.
