Law/Patents - Law: Taxation & Customs / Certificate of Chamber of Commerce
Spanish term or phrase: a estos estatutos
Hi all,
I'm translating a 'Certificado de existencia y representacion legal' from a Chamber of Commerce in Colombia for the UK authorities.
The business of the company on whose name the certificate is issued, is tourism services of different types.

In this sentence
"La sociedad tendrá un gerente quien sera su representante legal, tendrá a su cargo la administración y gestión de los negocios sociales con sujeción a la ley, ***a estos estatutos,*** a los reglamentos y decisiones de la asamblea de accionistas..."

Would does this 'estos estatutos' actually refers to? The statutes of the Chamber of Commerce?

Has anyone got an idea?

Many thanks for your replies...;)

English translation:to these articles of association
Explanation:
I would follow the use of EUR/LEX shown here:

el original o una copia compulsada del certificado de existencia
jurídica del candidato (estatutos);
http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=OJ:C:2...

— an original or certified photocopy confirming the legal
existence of the applicant (articles of association);
http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=OJ:C:2...

Word ref:
estatuto nm (conjunto de reglas) statute n, rules npl, (company) article of association n

The function of articles of association seem closer to the function of a certificado de existencia than by-laws do.
