Overview

Welcome to ProZ Pro Bono! Let’s start with a short introduction to what we do, why we do it, who’s involved, and who we work with. Watch the video below.

As a translator or interpreter, ProZ Pro Bono offers you four fantastic opportunities.

The opportunity to make a difference
You’ll be helping non-profits on extremely tight budgets worldwide overcome the language barrier and fulfill their humanitarian missions in a variety of vital sectors. Every work you translate will make a difference in the life of an individual or an entire group of people.
The opportunity to grow professionally
With our peer-review system, you’ll get feedback on your work, improve as a translator, explore new areas, and of course build up your CV. No matter how experienced you are, working with non-profits will enhance your resume and make a strong statement.
The opportunity to network
Through our WhatsApp groups and videoconferences, you’ll have a chance to meet fellow volunteers around the world: engaged and friendly professionals from a huge variety of different backgrounds. Broaden your horizons and escape the isolation of freelance life!
The opportunity to grow as a person
You’ll experience the benefits of helping others, learn about a range of different sectors, expand your knowledge and feel a deeper understanding of the needs of people across the world, plus a sense of connection to all those who are striving to make the world a better place.
