I am a professional free lance translator since 2006 when I obtained my Diploma in Translation certificate in London from English to Portuguese.
My bachelor in journalism and a passion for language and writing has enabled me to work on a series of translation documents related to sports marketing, digital media, IT, advertising, travel and tourism, marketing, politics among others. Journalism writing combined with the technical translation skills has given me opportunities to collaborated with major print and digital newspapers in the English and Portuguese speaking world.
In addition to translation, I provide editing, re-writing and proofreading services for texts written in Portuguese. I also offer transcription and/or translation of audio materials.

I make use of translation memory software where necessary to complete projects and I have an extensive reference library of paper-based and electronic dictionaries and specialized glossaries.
