Je vous ai donné l'usage ordinaire. Il faudrait voir l'extrait du texte avec bell-shaped pour comprendre s'il y a vraiment une différence.

Merci Cyril. Le document utilise également "bell-shaped" dans d'autres situations mais d'après vous les expressions sont strictement équivalentes? Pas d'expression alternative en FR qui permette de faire la "distinction"?

agree Tony M : Isn't that more usually referred to as a 'Gaussian distribution'? 'Mound' is an odd term to use — I'm wondering if they are seeking to imply, perhaps, a more 'triangular'-shaped 'mound'?

neutral Cyril Tollari : Votre lien de recherche montre p. ex. "courbe en cloche", "graphique en forme de cloche" et toutes les variantes et synonymes possibles, mais pas votre graphe "de" cloche. Où sont les liens pour graphe "de" cloche ? J'aimerais comprendre.
