I do not know the name in English, let alone Polish, but perhaps someone does. I believe that "amplitude" is the range up and down the field that a player has the freedom to move. In the olden days, forwards moved between a certain line towar the opponents goal; the midfielders operated between the defense and offense, and the defenders did not move beyond the midfield. These days of total football some players, as part of team strategy, can move beyond these lines and switch positions with other other players. Perhaps, this is where the "amplitude" comes in.

Total Football (Dutch: totaalvoetbal) is a tactical theory of football in which any outfield player can take over the role of any other player in a team. It was made famous by the Netherlands national football team in the 1974 FIFA World Cup. Early exponents of Total Football were European sides Ajax and Real Madrid, although the system saw trial in other parts of the world, notably with Brazilian side Santos, the Golden Team of Hungary, and English side Burnley in the 1950s.[1]
