(1) Nepal earthquake relief matching donation drive

On April 25th, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal near the capital of Kathmandu. A second major earthquake, of 7.3 magnitude, struck on May 12th. The ProZ.com site team's thoughts go out to all translators and their families there, and everyone else who has been affected by this disaster.
A fund has been created to raise money for the victims of the Nepal earthquakes. ProZ.com is matching donations to this fund, up to a total of $5,000 USD. Thanks to everyone who has given to the fund so far, and special thanks to site member Dhiraj Khati -- http://www.proz.com/profile/1045127 -- for starting this initiative!

Through Translators without Borders, volunteer translators have been key in search and rescue efforts, as well as in the spread of vital medical and media information.
