As a lawyer-linguist with a full German law degree, my focus is on translating and editing (legal, business and literature). I aim to transport meaning rather than just translate words, taking into account the cultural context of both source and target. 

As a writer (prose, film and blog), I create intelligent entertainment that fuses my love for epic adventure stories with my passionate interest in environmental and political issues.

I am also actively engaged in classical theatre (acting, directing, producing) and the occasional voice-over work.
