cep / porcini??? (Boletus edulis)

Explanation:
This is not my language pair - so I apologise in advance. However, my partner is Polish and loves mushrooms, so I noticed this question!

I know that the translation for cep (Boletus edulis) is normally borowik szlachteny (hope the spelling is correct) in Polish. However, could this possibly be a mistranslation of the German name 'Steinpilz' - literally 'stone mushroom'??? They are from Bohemia after all...

Neither my partner nor his mother (a mushroom expert!) had heard of 'grzyb-kamien' either, by the way.
