: If the meaning is shift, then you should say "1st shift" or "2nd shift". "Turn of duty" does not sound like English to me.

Tour could be the set-up (manip in French) which is why I asked you for more data.
It could also be shift as you mentioned.
A "tower" can be used to manufacture some drugs... or for distillation... In that case it would be bench 1 or 2...
