I am translating a legal document that was issued in Tunisia, all the addresses in the document contain the word نهج, like نهج المساترة، نهج الكوثر, does this refere to the street name? thanks.

There are so many ways to translate this depending on the context

In the context given then street, route, path, could be used also, but is not generic in the Arab World.

Street (St;)

It is a sinple address but in tunis they use nahaj like avenue so it is street .
