From the context, this seems like an alternative to "exams" or "tests". In which case, I would simply translate it as "examens".
But I can't find any similar uses elsewhere.

The test normally requires a high level of co-operation. In the manual version, which takes around 10-15 minutes, the testee has to point a rod at different points on a board, according ot the tester's instructions. Furthermore, he/she must remain stationary.

: Without enough context, seems most likely; the fact that it says "who has taken" suggests it is indeed JUST the "field test", which you do yourself
