español term

cifras tensionales

español al inglés Medicina Medicina: Cardiología Patient medical notes
Apologies again if this is elementary. I need an expert opinion as I am not entirely confident as to what this means. My first instinct was that the term relates to hypertension. Although from the ref I have found, I understand that Atenolol is no longer commonly used to treat hypertension, maybe this is in the UK only? Maybe I have misunderstood the reason for treatment with Atenolol? I am sorry, I think I need the help of someone with more experience in this area.

Patient medical notes for a women admitted with allergic reaction to Felodipine. Patient has a history of hypertension...

Your time and patience are much appreciated, thank you in advance for your help.

blood pressure figures

I believe this is what it is, given the context and the fact that at times "tensión" is a shortened form of "tensión arterial" or blood pressure.

agree Roxanna Delgado : Without a doubt. "Cifras tensionales" refers to blood pressure. I'll probably use BP readings, or levels.

blood stress figures

Peer comment(s):
