agree Salloz : A mí me parece ésta una buena solución. Si el cliente hubiera querido decir "alternativos" o algo así, lo hubiera dicho. Pero no; escogió "parasanitarios" para dar a entender "casi médicos", health-related.

complementary medicine

I am being naughty by offering another answer - the first time I have done this. My only reservation is that physiotherapy and rehabilitation would normally be included as conventional medicine.

"parasanitary" won't do, I know that much.

This seems to involve health services that are outside traditional/conventional medicine i.e. herbal remedies/homeopathy....etc

Simplemente por semejanza con paramedic. Por eso el nivel de confianza es bajo. Lo común es llamar a los ervicios sanitarios health services, pero eso no combian con para-.

Si repasamos el contexto, vemos que primero dice "los servicios sanitarios de..." y luego, al final, desliza eso de "naturopatía, acupuntura y otros servicios parasanitarios". La intención no podría ser más obvia.
