completed his sentence Explanation: (1) sentence and not "prison sentence" because a sentence does not necessary mean "priosn" - some people get to pay fines, or do community work, etc. If it was فترته بالسجن then "prison sentence would be fine." (2) "completed" is used for time, "finished" for tasks. Slight difference in meaning, but important. |
