En España, por lo menos, "jornada continua" es turno de 8 horas seguidas. Donde hay dos, o tres, suelen ser 06:00 / 14:00; 14:00 / 22:00; 22:00 / 06:00. Aunque no queda claro (porque podría ser también jornada distinta), creo que de eso se trata.
Otra cosa es que "jornada continua", como tal, sea la expresión usada en Perú...

los tipos de empleados a quienes se refiere (managerial, supervisory, technical and clerical workers) suelen trabajar de lunes a viernes en horario comercial porque algunos de sus funciones (ir al banco, hacer llamadas telefónicas fuera de la empresa) no se pueden hacer fuera del horario comercial.
