literal translation= lack of health contraindications,but this is the SAME as saying- there is NO indication of ill health=patient is in good health.
However, cannot say- lack of health contraindications, as that would be incorrect-- thus:" no indication of ill health chosen".
The doctor who is doing the medical report can say that the patient can be admitted into the care home as he is in good health, i.e. no indications of ill health.

--a better way of putting it accross might be to say that there are *** no significant indications of ill health*** to stop the patient being admitted to the care home. i.e. The patient meets the criteria for admission , as there are no major health issues etc.
The meaning is still intact, and accurate.

lack of health cotnraindications is just bad English you should know, only 3 examples of this phrase in google.It is true that the patient does not have to be in excellent health, but it is also true that -no indications of ill health has same meaning.
