Hello. I am translating into Spanish, but I have found several errors in the source document, and I am having difficulties understanding the following bulleted sentences:
Operator to save files (.tif, .psd, and .d) per naming convention in ticket and place in the appropriate folders per Visionpoint ticket:
- .tif resides in the scans folder or masters
- .psd resides in the scans/working scans folder or masters
- .d resides in the low-res folder or masters
Operator to save proof files and open files again to make sure that they match Visionpoint specs for sizing and crop, etc.
I hope someone can help me. I may be wrong, but I think in the last sentence, the word "folder" should de preceded by "image and masters," like this:
- .d RESIDES IN THE LOW-RES IMAGE OR MASTERS FOLDER
Thanks in advance for your kind assistance!

There are several errors, see explanation
To save files (.tif, .psd, and .d) the operator must name each item on the ticket and place in it the appropriate folders of each Visionpoint ticket:
- .tif resides in the scans folder or masters
- .psd resides in the scans/working scans folder or masters
- .d resides in the low-res folder or masters
To save proof files and open files again the operator must make sure that they match Visionpoint specs for sizing and crop, etc.
- .tif resides in the scans folder or masters
- .psd resides in the scans/working scans folder or masters
- .d resides in the low-res folder or masters
To save proof files and open files again the operator must make sure that they match Visionpoint specs for sizing and crop, etc.

low-res folder
It is fine as it is. The word "image" is implied in the meaning without needing to be stated. The sentence is simply saying that the files are being stored in the low-res folder. Again, it is implied that the lo-res folder contains images (of low resolution)...
Discussion
"Visionpoint specs for sizing and crop" I understand this as "Visionpoint specs for sizing and crop(ped) (sizes)
It is common for them to do this in instructional papers, It is just a way of not repeating a word, and saving word space while keeping readability (even if you just have to read it twice) .
I have written instruction books which were 50 pages, then cropped them down to 8 pages.
The difference cost to print a 50 page booklet as to an 8 page book by 100,000 copies is huge so I am guilty of doing the same to sentences :-).
The author is definitely a non-native. Did you notice the "Visionpoint specs for sizing and crop, etc." part?
and this
"place in the appropriate folders per Visionpoint ticket:" should read "place in the appropriate folders as per Visionpoint ticket:"
