French translation: déclaration selon l'article 16

English term or phrase: section 16 statement

Context:
"We have not had sight of any prosecutoir's statement (otherwise known as a "section 16 statement") in the confiscation proceedings"

I have not found an official translation and was wondering if I should translate it or write it in English with a footnote including a French equivalent (déclaration section 16).
Has anybody got an idea on the matter?

selon le contexte, une de ces trois propositions

ce qui signifie que la déclaration est prévue par l'article 16 d'un texte règlementaire ou législatif (code pénal peut-être?)

c'est du jargon administratif, on utilise une formule pour référer à un type particulier de déclaration, c'est courant dans l'adminsitration canadienne et j'imagine dans d'autres administrations (au Canada on écrirait s.16 declaration pour faire encore plus court)
