Spanish term

Mixto de Exteriorización

Any ideas please?
Thanks

Ruth Ramsey Jul 23, 2009:
Is an outsourced endowment policy the same as a traded endowment policy or is this something different?

exteriorizacion, externalizacion? I have a problem with the term used. Is there not an error somewhere?

Outsourced Endowment Insurance

See confidence level.

In Spain (since around 2002) companies are obliged to outsource (exteriorizar) their pension plans, group insurance etc.... to an external management company, i.e. they cannot handle the funds themselves.

"Mixto" - This particular type of insurance in English is endowment insurance - called here "mixto" because it combines two types of insurance:

Seguros MAPFRE.

I don't know the situation in the UK and perhaps this obligation to outsource these policies doesn't exist - if not, there will be no term to describe it.

A rough idea but HTH.

That sounds pretty convincing to me, Andy - thanks very much. If you've seen my other Kudoz questions today, you'll have seen how complex this translation has been :-(
