I assume that forra is from forrar, to cover or to coat something.

The ç is a soft "c" sound, ciense (not kiense) and cieno is mud. I assume the original was handwritten and so you're working with a transcription (possibly a transcription of a transcription of a ...), so I think that cieno is a possibility, but of course, I don't know for sure!
