Another phrase from a legal document certifying the records of a company Extraordinary General Meeting in Panama. The full phrase is:
'Asisten a esta Junta entre presentes y representados los tenedores de la totalidad de las acciones emitidas y en circulación de la Sociedad, *quienes renunciaron al aviso de convocatoria*'
I would translate it literally as 'who renounced the notice of the announcement', but that doesn't read at all well to me.

I think for the corporate context "convocatoria" should be translated as "call to meeting". "Convocation" is a little to literal for me, and "convocatoria" is the call, not the meeting itself.
