I am having a hard time trying to determine the correct word to use.
Is *one word* appropriate for all cases?
It is repeated throughout and the context is not always the same. "Manufacturing" seems good for most, but “fabrication” fits better in others.
The document is about a milling and grinding process for solid granulated compounds that are later mixed and disolved into a liquid. So the process itself is not "assembly" but I suppose in a chemical sense, it is.
I will try to present you with enough of the contexts so that you can help me solve this quandary. Thank you all!

Puedo añadir que en mis 25 años de experiencia en la industria farmacéutica tanto en Control de calidad como en producción y empaque; cuando del proceso de fabricación de un producto farmacéutico se trata, el término más común usado para este proceso en E.U. es "manufacturing".

The word fabrication is overwhelmingly used in pharmaceutical Internet sites. This field is not my specialty, but it seems to me that you could selectively use the wod "production" where the production process is clearly indicated by context.

I think 'preparation' is a much-used term for 'fabricación' in the pharma context, and covers the case of hand-made and 'manufactured' products.
