French to English Law/Patents Law (general) Swiss company law
From company articles, article X:

"Si l'élection n'aboutit pas au premier tour de scrutin, un second tour a lieu, au cours duquel la décision est prise à la majorité relative. L'article XX des statuts est réservé."

The article XX in question specifies more restrictive conditions required for major changes (2/3 vote etc) not directly related to elections.

Does this mean that article X applies without prejudice to the provisions of article XX? That's what I understand, but I'm wondering whether there is some nicety of Swiss French I'm missing...
