Portuguese term

passthrough, pass-through ou pass through?

Portuguese to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) contrato de locação
Tenho visto escrito das três formas. Qual a correta? São diferentes acepções para repasse? E o plural como é?

Obrigado, mais uma vez A sua afirmação me é suficiente. Dúvida enterrada...
Enza Longo Aug 10, 2010:
pass-through in financial context is hyphenated, whether used as an adjective (i.e. pass-through securities, pass-through entities, etc.) or noun (i.e. pass-through (sing.), pass-throughs (pl.). Perhaps you could provide the sentence where the term(s) appear.
roberto bormann (asker) Aug 10, 2010:
Obrigado Mas continuo vendo a definição (correta, diga-se de passagem) para repasse escrita das três formas. Fiquei confuso. a mim não parece certo traduzir repasse como pass through, porque certamente essa grafia tem outro significado, passar através de algo. Deve haver uma grafia definida para o ato financeiro de conduzir um crédito, com as deduções usuais, de um titular para outro...

pass-through (noun) - pass through (verb)

It depends on usage. One is a noun (pass-through) and the other is a verb ( pass through). You can Google it (as per Marlene's link) to get the definitions and how it can be used in a sentence
Note from asker:
Thank you, but as I sad to Marlene, I keep finding many different forms for the same definition in Google. I mean, financial act of transfer money to other person. I guess there is a word which can express exactly this. Even here in Proz you can find no consesnsus... It appears with and without the dash as a noun. It appears even as a single word - passtrough - confusing...
