Please note that 'contract' is considered bad usage these days for this type of thing. Construction contract yes, employment contract yes, but here "agreement" is used in the legal world. Contract is not technically wrong but it is question of conventional terms used.

The document itself was just headed "THIS AGREEMENT" but was referred to alternatively as "Share sale agreement" or "Share purchase agreement, depending on which side of the transaction was concerned, but was mostly referred to as "share purchase agreement" or SPA.
