For rent ad
This is a "For Rent" ad. The rent is in Guneih, and I know that there is an area called "New Egypt" in New Jersey, but then if it were here in the States, why is the rent in Guneih and not in Dollars?
So if it were in Egypt, is the translation "New Egypt" correct?
Also, maybe the street names can help...
شقة مفروشة للايجار بمصر الجديدة. 11 شارع افلاطون, متفرع من شارع العروبة.
السعر 2200 جنيه مصري

You don't have to be sorry for posting this as a non-pro question, for any Egyptian it's as easy as "what's your name" :)

I'd call it a "floating house" since it's a single unit meant for one family. These were very fashionable in the past and they were situated in well off areas, but they were relocated to a poorer area of the city. I have seen them only in old movies particularly one very famous movie, and you can see here one of the song where this "floating house" can be seen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBoOpjKuDKc

للسكن او الاستثمار عائمة بوسط القاهرة لها شاطئ بحر -
Would it be a "floating apartment" or a "floating house"?
Thanks!!
First - I'm sorry that this appears as non-PRO. I must have overlooked something when entering the question.
So, you are absolutely convinced that saying "New Egypt" would be a mistake, and is unacceptable under any circumstances?
