Sounds a really stupid title to use in EN anyway!

Is there in fact only one of them, or are there several?

I don't see why one would 'insult' it by calling it 'secondary' — OK, it isn't a front page scoop or a headline / leader story; it feels almost as if they were desperately trying to find a name for it.

if the article(s) is (are) long enough to justify it, then I'd go for something like 'reportage', as used in JT, where you have the main stories of the day, and then a non-time-specific longer article (which could be slotted in at any time to suit)
