Da Inglese a Italiano Tecnico/Meccanico Energia/Produzione di energia

Buongiorno a tutti!
Sto traducendo una brochure di un'azienda che offre ai propri clienti servizi e soluzioni IT per la previsione dell’energia generata e consumata, e per il monitoraggio e la gestione d’impianti di produzione e sistemi di distribuzione. Eccovi il paragrafo in questione:

"Forecasting data is processed through a sophisticated system of mathematical algorithms. These data comes from different numerical models of weather prediction to obtain the spatial and time resolution that is desired. Additionally, the data can be combined with ***metering production*** to offer an accurate energy forecast for every plant that is integrated to the system. gWISE has been developed for every existent renewable technology: wind, photovoltaic, hydroelectric, CSP, tidal energy, CHP."

Da qualche parte ho trovato "metering room" tradotto come "locale contatori". Come si dovrebbe tradurre in questo caso?
