minimum number of study hours

I agree with visa63 that *dedicación* in this context refers to the amount of time students should devote to studying, but I usually translate this as *number of study hours*.

Thank you María
agree Charles Davis : Since this is work experience, it's a moot point whether it's "study hours" or "working hours". Perhaps "hours" alone would do.

Thanks Charles. Good point. Since work experience is now an obligatory part of practically all EHHA degree courses and counts for study credits, it is theoretically viewed as study, but your other suggestions would work equally as well.

Dedicación may refer to the amount of time committed, in this case the minimum.
Note from asker:
It definitely refers to tutored work experience not study. Committment was my first idea.
Peer comment(s):

agree James A. Walsh : I thnk your suggestion would be perfect if it included "time" (as in "minimum time commitment"), as it doesn't actually indicate "hours" specifically, and could be referring to "weeks" or "months" even, so "time" would cover it nicely.

Spanish term (edited): dedicación mínima

minimum workload

Suerte.
