I agree with visa63 that *dedicación* in this context refers to the amount of time students should devote to studying, but I usually translate this as *number of study hours*.

: I thnk your suggestion would be perfect if it included "time" (as in "minimum time commitment"), as it doesn't actually indicate "hours" specifically, and could be referring to "weeks" or "months" even, so "time" would cover it nicely.
