Have not encountered this expression so far. From an architectural plan, re building a cement concrete shaft adjacent to an exterior wall:
Der Schacht ist umseitig gegen "drückende Nässe" abzudichten.
The shaft is to be sealed on all sides against... pressurised dampness? rain?

In the ground, of course, it will normally be (ground)water rather than moisture, but it does go to show you cannot always rely on the glossaries, you have to treat them with caution - they are not always right.
Quite apart from anything else, there are amateurs on this site who also post wrong glossary entries from time to time, and the professionals (or the site operators) haven't always got time to correct them...
