Estoy traduciendo un artículo titulado "Bendamustine plus rituximab versus CHOP plus rituximab as first-line treatment for patients with indolent and mantle-cell lymphomas: an open-label, multicentre, randomised, phase 3 non-inferiority trial".
"Patients aged 18 years and older with a WHO performance status of 2 or less were eligible for inclusion if they had a histologically confirmed diagnosis of mantle-cell lymphoma or indolent non-Hodgkin lymphoma, including the following **CD20-positive subtypes**:2 follicular (grade 1 and 2), lymphoplasmacytic (Waldenström’s macroglobulinaemia), small lymphocytic, and marginal-zone lymphoma".

Si en el texto figurase muchas veces el complemento 'CD20-positive', la primera vez indicaría entre paréntesis "CD20+" (con el signo "+" como supraíndice) y las veces siguientes usaría esta abreviatura.
Además, la primera vez que aparece le sintagma 'anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody' lo traduciría como "anticuerpo monoclonal contra el antígeno CD20 (anti-CD20)", y las siguientes, como "anticuerpo anti-CD20".

Por si no quedó claro, el sintagma 'CD20-positive' indica, con la economía de medios lingüíticos tan propia del inglés, que la prueba de detección del antígeno CD20 en las células de los linfomas en cuestión dio un resultado positivo, lo que significa que dichas células expresan el antígeno CD20. Mirá, por ejemplo:

Como el castellano no es una lengua tan sintética como el inglés, no usaría el calco "CD20 positivo", aunque se vea con frecuencia por influencia del inglés.

Zevalin is an anti CD20 antibody connected to a molecule of radioactive yttrium (Y-90). Zevalin is licensed for use in the UK in people with CD20 positive follicular B cell NHL who have had rituximab and either it hasn't worked or their NHL has come back since their treatment. It is also licensed as a maintenance treatment for follicular lymphoma in remission after the first course of treatment. Maintenance treatment is ongoing therapy aimed at keeping the lymphoma in remission. Zevalin is not widely available in the UK. The Scottish Medicines Consortium (SMC) has not recommended the use of Zevalin. And the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) has not assessed it yet.
