Thanks for everyone who graciously answered such an 'easy' question without the need for snide comments. I think it was the commas around the tal y como that had me doubting a little.
Hey, we can all have an off day you know, especially when your toddler woke up six times during the night and you are currently working with said toddler asleep on you and your eyes are half closed :)

So, if it's just 'as' would the last sentence
tal y como, dichos artículos pudieran
just be "as such articles could be...." ?
