English term

to commence an on-time

English to French Medical Medical (general) neurophysiologie
Based upon the comparison of the collected data with theoretical, stored thresholds, the IMD 100 may determine whether an appropriate time to commence an on-time (i.e., a time to apply the electrical signal to the cranial nerve) has been reached (block 930).

Proposed translations

Selected

neutral Tony M : That's not really QUITE what it means: 'on-time' refers to the period during which the signal is 'on', as distinct from the 'off-time' (= when it is off!) It's like a mark/space ratio in telecoms etc.
