On, more high-falutin', "upon the Earth." I don't see a translation of this title, but there are translations of several of relevant statements by S., which use "trace." Quite Leibnizian.

Strictly off the top of my head. Do you know if this story has already been translated? If it has, it may make more sense to locate the existing translation and use that.
