: The S/T very deliberately opposes them by using 'or', which you seem to have converted into the IMHO weaker 'and', which somewhat changes the meaning, don't you think?

La formulation peut être améliorée, bien entendu, mais j'utilise "volontairement" pour "preferably" dans la mesure où il me semble que cette préférence repose sur une démarche voulue. Non écouté peut être aussi non entendu.
