Bonjour,

Je traduis un roman sur une sorcière. L'âme d'un dieu vit en elle, et ce dieu est facétieux et rebelle. Il existe donc un sort pour le "contenir", le confinant en quelque sorte au plus profond d'elle, le rendant silencieux et lui ôtant tout pouvoir, un peu comme s'il était mis dans une boîte.

Le terme utilisé en anglais est "contain" pour le verbe et "containment" pour le nom.

J'hésite entre "maîtriser"/"maîtrise" (mais cela me semble un peu porter à confusion et ne pas retranscrire vraiment le sens), "contenir"/"confinement" (mais ici c'est le nom commun qui me gêne) et "sceller"/"scellement" qui me semble plus convenir.

Asker: En fait, c'était le terme que je pensais utiliser au début, mais en même temps, je cherchais quelque chose de plus "esthétique", d'où l'idée de "scellement"

Asker: En fait, brider ne correspondrait pas à l'idée que l'âme du dieu est enfermé dans les tréfonds de l'âme de la jeune femme quand ce type de sort est lancé.
