English term

Offset

English to French Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering Elevators
Bonjour,

"The frequency inverter is pre-set to the actual drive system.
Attention:
The encoder offset will be automatically established after each power on of the inverter."

Merci d'avance.

Merci, Tony
agree Jennifer Levey : 'décalage' is correct, but this has nothing to do with "fréquence". It refers to the rotational offset (angular degrees) of a shaft encoder.

La RAZ de l'encodeur

Suggéré
Peer comment(s):

disagree Jennifer Levey : 'offset' and 'reset' are entirely different concepts. There is no RAZ (reset) in Asker's context. There's an offset (décalage), and the shaft encoder sub-system is primed to take it into account after power-up.
