Without much more context I cannot be sure but if often relates to the case reference when they were still published in books. For example:
לוי נ. כהן פד נז (3) עמוד
which I would render as follows:
Levy v. Cohen Israel Law Reports Vol. 57 (3) page...
פד referring to פסקי דין
