Spanish term

Instar un concurso (de acreedores)

Spanish to English Other Law (general) Insolvency proceeding
Hi,

I am not very sure how should I translate into English "instar un concurso". Is it the same as "to request an insolvency proceeding"?

Thank you very much for your help!

Asker We don't speak of "a proceeding" - the word always pluralises in this context, and proceedings are "commenced". You need to be careful with legal terms!
