« perpétuelle » parce qu’elle peut être utilisée après que la personne qui l’a donnée n’est plus mentalement capable de prendre ses décisions financières elle-même. On utilise parfois l’expression « procuration de longue durée ».

neutral  B D Finch: There's a problem in assuming that the Canadian arrangements are the same as those in England and Wales. For instance, the current Lasting power of attorney differs from the previous Enduring power of attorney.
