English term

Incumbent employee

English to Portuguese Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)
"... we may use your information to create a talent assessment model for a specific role at your current employer. In such a scenario, you would be deemed an “Incumbent Employee.”

Can anyone help me with the meaning of "incumbent"? "Do quadro"? "Titular?"

Thank you! :)

Lembrei-me entretanto de outra possibilidade, "funcionário / cargo / posto de referência".

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thank you, Katarina, and to everyone else for their input. In fact, after some research in found a definition that matches yours "the incumbent is the one who holds the position". I changed "posto" to "cargo" since it is more commonly used in Eurepean PT."
