Contrast in the US and Canada: the property line and in the UK the building line, both in the singular, plus the concept of a 'curtilage' and 'messuage'.

I agree with Emiliano P's idea of a boundary, albeit extended or widened.

You are welcome! Most law (with languages) students moan about the difficulty of English land law, but it begins - or began - to make sense in actual conveyancing practic/se.
