Arabic term

فكل مقصودٍ بالعبادة معبود، وكلّ مقصود للعِبادة وسيلة

Arabic to English Social Sciences Religion
What difference in meaning of the harf jar "ب" and "ل" bring in the above phrase? Is this translation "Any one sought with worship is the one worshipped, and any one sought using worship is the one acts as intermediary" correct? Thanks for help!

Thanks Dr. Zareh for your short explanation.
Zareh Darakjian Ph.D. Aug 23, 2019:
Change any one to the One.
Change means to an instrument.
You can call me Zareh.
Mr. Zareh is not right. If you want titles, it is Dr. Zareh.
You can call me Zareh, though.
fird_77 (asker) Aug 23, 2019:
And what is this sentence talking about? It seems that there is a big difference between وسيلة and معبود here.
fird_77 (asker) Aug 23, 2019:
Mr. Zareh... Let me summarize your point: a) فكل مقصودٍ بالعبادة معبود any one set aside for the purpose of being worshiped is worshiped, and b) وكلّ مقصود للعِبادة وسيلة any one set aside for the purpose of worshiping is a means. Do I get your point right?
fird_77 (asker) Aug 23, 2019:
Dear, Sir. Thanks for your reply. Could you please elaborate "any one meant for worshiping is a means?"
The point that confuses me is harf jar "ب" and "ل" in the above sentence.

any being set aside for worship is worshiped, and any one meant for worshiping is a means.

Here مقصودٍ means "targeted" or "set aside" and not
"meant"
