Νομίζω πως ο όρος δεν έχει αποδοθεί με ακρίβεια στα ελληνικά. Έτσι, η «συμμετοχική καινοτομία» και η «ανοικτή καινοτομία», αν και συναφείς όροι, θα ήταν καλύτερο να χρησιμοποιηθούν για τους παρεμφερείς όρους "participatory innovation" και "open innovation", αντίστοιχα, και ο όρος "crowd innovation" να αποδοθεί ως «καινοτομία με τη συμμετοχή του πλήθους».

Παρακαλώ! Επίσης, είδα τώρα πως υπάρχει και ο όρος «μαζική καινοτομία», ο οποίος με τη σειρά του μάλλον αποτελεί μετάφραση του "mass innovation".
