English term

economic fortunes

English to Spanish Bus/Financial Finance (general) African economy
Would just "economía" be ok in this context? Sentence is:

"Others believe that the continent’s economic fortunes have finally turned for the better and are set to follow the lead set by Southeast Asia and Latin America."

Thank you

suerte económica

It is the fortunes, ie circumstances, not the economy itself.

Thank you, would you say "la suerte económica ha mejorado"?

riqueza económica

I think "economía" is OK, but maybe another option could be "riqueza económica".
