Spanish term

45 DPBTOI // 4DPBIOI

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) Ophthalmology Report
This is a section of an Ophthalmology Report describing the physical examination findings of a patient with left ophthalmoparesis.

Text surrounding the abbreviations that I'm unable to decipher (except for OI, which I'm assuming refers to "ojo izquierdo").

Exploración física
VERSIONES:
Limitación complete de la abducción en OI (grado 4)
45 DPBTOI. 4DPBIOI.
MOI: pupilas isocóricas reactivas.

esotropia of 45 PD & hypertropia of 4 PD (LI)

Not sure how to naturally simplify the expression of the data but this seems to describe the angle in PD of esotropia (prisma base temporal) and hypertropia (prisma base inferior) in the left eye (non-fixating eye) -lo que parece concordar con la descripción del caso (limitación completa para abducción en el ojo izquierdo).

Esotropia of 45 prism diopters in the left eye
Hypertropia of 4 prism diopters in the left eye

The Four Prism Dioptre Reflex Test (also known as the 4 PRT, or 4 Prism Dioptre Base-out Test), is an objective, non-dissociative test used to prove the alignment of both eyes (i.e. the presence of binocular single vision) by assessing motor fusion.[1] Through the use of a 4 dioptre base out prism, diplopia is induced which is the driving force for the eyes to change fixation and therefore re-gain bifoveal fixation meaning, they overcome that amount of power.

Prism correction is measured in prism dioptres. A prescription that specifies prism correction will also specify the "base". The base is the thickest part of the lens and is opposite from the apex. Light will be bent towards the base and the image will be shifted towards the apex. In an eyeglass prescription, the base is typically specified as up, down, in, or out, but left and right are also used sometimes. Whether a patient needs this type of correction can be determined by a variety of methods.

I think it should be read as 45 DP BT OI // 4 DP BI OI
