Explanation:
I think in English, people who propose these kinds of techniques would just use "disarming", without the "mental" part. Here you could probably just use "disarming" as a noun, or "disarming strategy," etc.

Since this appears to involve training materials (for salespeople) and a related heading, the imperative --- telling them what to do --- make sense:

Lower their Guard // Lowering their Guard

When I worked in sales (before I went to college), we would use language like this all the time (in New Jersey). As for 'disarming' + technique or strategy (as already suggested), this works too. IMO
