Not convinced that "chronogram" is the correct translation.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

neutral  Jennifer Levey: Agree with Samuel's suggestion that 'digital' is superfluous (and potentially an over-translation, even in an IT context). Chronogrammes (timing diagrams) existed long before the digital age - they were fundamental in the design of steam engines!
