Russian term or phrase: малолетучая пыльца
Context: "В мезолитическом и неолитическом слоях преобладает малолетучая пыльца бука, граба, липы, каштана, орешника, ольхи. Летучая пыльца сосны, ели и пихты крайне редка."

The document is part of a book on the Prehistoric Caucasus.

I wondered if "летучая пыльца" would translate as "anemophilous pollen", but I'm drawing a blank on both of these terms.

Thank you for your help. I was concerned initially that "volatility" in some of the research papers appeared to refer to the volatility of the pollen odour. However, I've since found some papers that use volatility in the way that I think it is meant in this document.

pollen of moderately anemophilous species [such as beech, hornbeam, ...]

Explanation:
Sarah, you seem to be right about anemophily, but "anemophilous species" is used much more often than "anemophilous pollen". Oaks and beeches are anemophilous, but they have a "heavier" pollen (that is, less prone to wind dispersal) than conifers.

and you can then use "highly anemophilous" for the conifers
